Lancaster Improv Players Giving Back
Lancaster Improv Players is about more than improv comedy. We’re big on giving back to our community. We always seek ways to support the local community and make a difference. This support has been present since our early shows to continued partnerships and fundraisers as fundraisers for local charities today.
Free Menstrual Hygiene Products
Lancaster Improv Players support the work of organizations like The Period Project and Free the Tampon by providing access to free menstrual products in our public restrooms. If you’d like to donate supplies for others’ use, please drop them off at our theater. If you want to help more, donate feminine hygiene products to your local food bank.
Sliding Scale Ticketing
Improv is for everyone! First Fridays are Free for All, Fridays at 7 are Pay-What-You-Will, and now all other shows are implementing our new sliding scale ticket model! There are three tiers of ticket pricing; all tickets gain equal access to the theater space and differ only in price.
Access Ticket – $10
We offer this price point for students, seniors or anyone else served by this option.
Standard Ticket – $15
This price point helps us continue our mission and supports our basic expenses.
Supporter Ticket – $20
When you pay at the highest tier, you support Access Tickets for those who need them and our organization’s continued growth.
To cultivate community and equity, we invite our audiences to choose the tier that works best for them. No matter what you pay, we’re delighted to have you in our audience. Let’s make Lancaster a funnier place; together!
Scholarships
Making Lancaster a funnier place is a lot of work; we need all hands on deck! If you are interested in taking a class but your bank account said “no”, send an email to finance@lancasterimprovplayers with “Scholarship” in the subject line. Our treasurer will respond post haste and let you know if there are any spots left in the course of your choice.
Whether you’re in need of a full or partial scholarship, we can’t wait to see you in class someday soon!
